Shadia Fairuz has dedicated her whole life to the performing arts, training as a singer and as a pianist since she was a child. Her diverse performing career has brought her to perform nationally and abroad with renown stages and theaters such as Carnegie Hall, The Hermitage, Russia; Teatro de los Heroes, Chihuahua, México; Pregones-PRTT, Repertorio Español, and L.A. Theater Center and Opera America as she continues to bend the aesthetic and stylistic boundaries of music and the performing arts.
Within the arts education sector Shadia has worked with prestigious organizations such as the Metropolitan Opera Guild (Teaching Artist), The Puerto Rican Traveling Theater’s Raul Julia Training Unit (Musical Director), Boys & Girls Harbor (Director of the Choral and Vocal Program), Pregones Theater (Development and Outreach Associate) and is extremely proud to join the Turtle Bay Music School family as the Community Chorus Director.
